Description

Nine month rental of one (1)18ton crane that must meet or exceed the following requirements - Minimum C-17A Crane requirements determined by Douglas Aircraft Co./88277 support equipment recommendation data report, dated 25 Oct 1989. Contract number F33657-81-2108. o C-17A Lift Requirements ? Lift fan thrust reverser assembly (approx 1600 lbs with sling), lift inboard flap (approx 2200 lbs), lift engine pylon with sling (approx 1600 lbs), lift flap actuator with sling (approx 100 lbs), lift engine cradle with sling (approx 3000 lbs) ? Function analysis crane lift requirements. Overall C-17A lift requirements. ? Capable of lifting up to 3000 lbs with sling to 0-42 variable feet. (Devise used must interface with all components slings, which have a 3 inch minimum inside clear opening) ? Lift device must have sufficient horizontal offset to clear all parts of the engine while removing or replacing the fan thrust reverser assembly. o Variable boom length of 21 to 42 feet capable of lifting 3000 lbs o Hook height ranging from 0-42 feet capable of lifting 3000 lbs o Hook which interfaces with all component slings having a 3 inch minimum clear opening ? Lift device must have load moment indicator safety feature. ? Must be Full Hydraulic self propelled rough terrain ? 27ft-70 ft boom (full power) ? 95% of tipping on outriggers ? 75% of tipping on rubber ? infinite joystick controls ? capable of moving load on rubber ? 360 degree rotation clear operator visibility
