- Description
- The VA Medical Centers in Cincinnati, Ohio and Dayton, Ohio have a requirement for refuse collection services at their facilities for a period of 12 months, with options for four additional years of services. Additional collection points are the Community Based Outpatient Clinics located in Middletown, Oh and Springfield, Oh. Also pickup will include the Ft. Thomas facility in Ft. Thomas, Ky. Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material and equipment necessary to provide garbage and trash removal pickup. Contractor shall provide a compactor and containers as needed. Daily and weekly pickups will be required, as well as additional special pickups, according to VA requirements. This solicitation is being done as full and open and is being issued under the authority of Part 13.5 utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commerical/Items Services under FAR Part 12. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562111, _Refuse hauling, local_, and small business size standard is $10.5 million. This will be a best value procurement based on Past Performance and Price. An amendment will be posted around the 10th of January 2004 incorporating the Department of Labor Wage and Determination rates. This may be awarded as multiple awards.
