- Solicitation Number W91238-04-Q-0035, Coastal Salt Marsh Sampling Analysis, Hamilton Army Airfield, Novato, California. The Contractor is to furnish all labor, materials, and supplies necessary to provide sample analysis. This information will be use d to determine the lateral and vertical extent of contamination at the Coastal Salt Marsh, Hamilton Army Airfield, Novato, California. All work will be done in accordance with the following documents: (1) Data Quality Objectives Pre-Remedial Action Samplin g Coastal Salt Marsh, Hamilton Army Airfield, Novato, California; (2) Field Sampling Plan Pre-Remedial Action Sampling Coastal Salt Marsh, Hamilton Army Airfield, Novato, California; (3) Quality Assurance Project Plan (Draft Final) Pre-Remedial Action Samp ling Coastal Salt Marsh, Hamilton Army Airfield, Novato, California; and the (4) Work Plan Pre-Remedial Action Sampling Coastal Salt Marsh, Hamilton Army Airfield, Novato, California; and the Scope of Work. These documents are currently available along wit h the Request for Quotation package at the Sacramento District website: http://www.spk.usace.army.mil/cespk-ct/ All respondents must submit the following items along with the completed Request for Quotation package and completed clauses and provisions: (1) Proof of Certification. Awardee must be certified by the State of California and validated by the U.S. Army Cor ps of Engineers, or sucessfully audited by the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference (NELAC) auditors; (2) Contractor must provide specific statistically derived control limits for LCS and surrogates, and method detection limits, both with analyte lists containing the analytes of interest. (3) Provide all requested variances from this Scope of Work and Work Plan - this includes known cleanup costs necessary to meet required quantitation limits. This work is set-aside for Small Business only. This procurement will be conducted under NAICS code 541380. The size standard for this NAICS code is $6 million. This procurement will be conducted under FSC code B510. This procurement will be conducted under SIC Code 8734. Ordering Plans and Spec ifications: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This solicitation for this project is available on the Sacramento District Contracting Divisions Internet Home Page at http://www.spk.usace.army.mil/cespk-ct/ for downloading. The date for receipt of re sponses is 9 January 2004, at 1300 hours. Any future amendments to this solicitation will also be available for download from this website. It is important that you go to the Contracting Divisions website, click on the advertised solicitation you are interested in. Click on Planholder Registration. This will require you to establish a user name and password. Click on the desired solicitation number, and scroll to the bottom of the page. Along the bottom there is a blue title bar that says Download/View Solicitation Files. Highlight Specifications and click on Go. In the middle of the page there is a blu e ti tle bar titled, Specification, with a subheading titled, File Name. Click on the actual file name and the solicitation/amendment will open up using Adobe Acrobat, from this screen, you can view or print the solicitation documents.
