- Project Title & Location: HAZWOPER Training, USACE Sacramento, 1325 J Street, Sacramento California. JOB DESCRIPTION: The contract has been awarded on a sole source basis to a small business. This announcement is for any possible subcontracting opportunities. The work to be performed under this contract is as follows: Contractor will furnish all necessary personnel, services, materials, handouts, supplies and transportation to perform six (6) HAZWOPER Refreshers and one (1) HAZWOPER Supervisor training course. Each class will be eight (8) hours as required by the OSHA Standard. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at 1325 J Street, Sacramento, CA will provide a meeting room and audio-visual equipment for all courses. The period of service for the contract will be for calendar year 2004. This Procurement will be conducted under FSC Code: U099 SIC Code: 8748 NAICS Code: 541620. The size standard for this code is $6,000,000.00. TYPE OF AWARD: This RFQ is an announcement for subcontracting opportunities only. This is being awarded to a Small Business as a Sole Source Award to Krause & Associates. Any interested subcontractors must contact TJ Kamenitzer at 916-557-7456 before 1:00 PM on 07 Janu ary 2004. ORDERING SOLICITATION: The solicitation for this project will be available on the Sacramento District Contracting Divisions Internet Home Page at http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil/ for downloading. Any future amendments to the solicitation will al so be available for download from this web site. REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION IN ANY OTHER FORMAT THAN WHAT IS ADVERTISED WILL BE DISREGARDED. It is important that you first go to this web site and under contract division home page, click on the advertised solicitation you are interested in. Go to plan holders registration. This will require you to establish a user name and password. Keep the user name and password and share it with anyone else in your organization that is responsible for r egistering your firm on plan holders lists. With our new system you only have to do the full registration one time. If you have your user name and password, you can always go back into the system and register for other jobs without having to go through t he entire registration process. However, you can only do this by using your initial user name and password. And at the bottom of this page, there is a bar that says download/view solicitation files. S elect plans or specs from the drop down box and press go button. This will take you to the next page, then from there click on the file name and download. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. Please note that all contractors and potential contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database, effective 31 May 1998.
