Small Business Set-Aside: Total Small Business
Description: Description: The United States Army Communication Electronics Command (CECOM) plans to acquire under a 100 % Small Business Set-Aside, Firm-Fixed Price Contract for Motor, Alternating Current, 208V, 3 PH, 400 Hz, to be manufactured and tested in accordance with drawing 13221E9097. The Alternating Current Motor effort will provide motors for air conditioning in tactical vehicles. The contract will consist of 12 ea with a 100% option. Packaging and marking shall be in accordance with Standard Practice for Commercial Pack aging (ASTM D 3951-98). Ship to address: DODAAC: W25G1U, New Cumberland Army Depot. The Government intends to award under Request for Quote (RFQ) procedures. This same motor was solicited using the Reverse Auctioning technique under solicitation number W15P7T-04-B-A204. That solicitation has been cancelled. The government is going forward with a Request for Quote (RFQ) to meet this requirement. Solicitation release date on the Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) is estimated to be on or abo ut January 6, 2004.
