- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Spark Holland Inc. 666 Plainsboro Rd, Suite 1336 Plainsboro, NJ 08536. The Spark Holland Symbiosis System is the only known system that can be integrated with CDC API mass spectrometer which can provide precise measuring perfluorinated chemicals in serum. CDC believes that only only one provider meets this requirement; however, all responsible sources that can meet these requirements may submit a quote which will be considered by the agency. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for services, which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This procurement is not set-aside for small business. The government will consider all proposals received by close of business Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; Facilities and Construction Management Branch; Attn: Matthew Ellington; 2920 Brandywine Road, Room 2704.03 M/S k-71, Atlanta, GA 30341.
