- ALL SERVICE PROVIDERS REFERENCE: SPECIAL NOTICE POSTED IN THE FEDBIZOPS for DFAS Accounting Business Line (ABL) Request for Information (RFI) SOLICITATION NUMBER: DFASABLMarket Research POSTED: November 21, 2003 ORIGINAL RESPONSE DATE: December 16, 2003 Thank you for your interest in the referenced Special Notice. We appreciate your willingness to assist DFAS in its market research efforts to assess the availability and capability of Service Providers to meet DFAS accounting customer requirements. The intent of the RFI was to gather information only. The Government is no longer accepting Capability Statements or amendments to Capability Statements as the closing dates were December 16, 2003 and December 18, 2003 for Industry Day briefings. As stated at the Industry Day, DFAS will accept Accounting Business Line questions until 4:00 p.m. EST, January 5, 2004.
