Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center, Devens (FMC, Devens), intends to award a purchase order for various products manufactured by Fuji Medical Systems. The products required must be these particular products, as they will blend with existing systems in place at our facility. The products are 1) XFLASH-LITE-IIP, 2) XDICOMPRINT, 3) XSDPRO, AND 4) B03A APPLICATIONS. Our facility requires these products to be installed, and a warranty issued on parts and labor from the firm awarded the purchase. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, as no solicitation is available. However, any firm that believes it can meet the exact specifications/requirements issued may give written or faxed notification to the Contracting Officer no later than December 31, 2003. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with this requirement. As mentioned, products must be manufactured by Fuji. Information can be sent to FMC, Devens, attn: Contracting/Jennifer, PO Box 880, Ayer, MA 01432. It may be faxed to 978/796-1131. If no responses are received, FMC, Devens will proceed with a sole-source negotiated procurement with Fuji, as a small business cannot be located.
