- The United States Coast Guard has a requirement for 1) NSN 4320-01-505-2067, Pump Unit, Centrifugal, Part Number 03/801EBP005; quantity 4 each, Service Requirements: horizontal evaporator brine pump assembly; 2) NSN 4320-01-505-2071, Pump Unit, Centrifugal, Part Number 03/801EFP001, quantity 2 each, Service Requirements: horizontal evaporator feed pump assembly; 3) 4320-01-505-2078, Pump Unit, Centrifugal, Part Number 03/801ECP004, quantity 1 each, service requirements: horizontal evaporator condensate pump assembly. All items manufactured by Pan Pacific Supply Company. It is the Government?s belief that only Pan Pacific Supply Company, the Original Equipment Manufacturer, or their authorized distributors, have the capability to manufacture and supply these pumps. The due date for submission of quotations shall be no later than January 7, 2004. FOB Destination delivery to Commanding Officer, USCG, NESU Charleston, 1050 Register St., North Charleston, SC 29405, Attn: CWO Walter Porbst. Note: No Drawings or Specifications are available from this agency. All information is proprietary to Pan Pacific Supply Company. Quotation shall include, proposed delivery in days, pricing for items individually packed, marked and bar coded, the company Tax Information number and Duns number. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received shall be considered by this agency. It is the Governments intent to solicit and award a purchase order to Pan Pacific Supply Co. and/or their authorized distributor/dealer, however interested sources that possess the capabilities of obtaining the required technical, engineering and manufacturing data from Pan Pacific Supply Company and possess the capabilities of manufacturing these pumps, may submit information regarding these capabilities. This information must include (1) complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered part (i.e. salient physical, function and serviceability characteristics), or (2) data that the offered part(s) have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the OEM. This information must be received within five working days from the date of this publication. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall not be considered for this particular acquisition. The submission of data for review shall not impede award of a purchase order. The Government does not intend to pay for information solicited. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR 2003. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 333911 and the small business size standard is 500 employees.
