- Description
- The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, CA intends to award an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity combination cost plus fixed fee, firm fixed price contract to ViaSat Incorporated, 6155 El Camino Real, Carlsbad, CA on a sole source basis. The purpose of this action is for engineering, support, management, testing and training services for ViaSat hardware and software utilized in the Joint (Ultra-High Frequency) MILSATCOM Network Integrated (JMINI) Control Station Network Control System (NCS). Use of any other contractor would result in substantial duplication of costs not recoverable through competition. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. See Note 22. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334220 and the size standard is 750 employees.
