- Description
- The Contracts Department of Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, San Diego intends to procure, in accordance with FAR, Part 12 ? Acquisition of Commercial items, Husbanding Agent/Port Services to support U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard ships and vessels throughout the western coast of the United States (California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska). Types of services required include, but are not limited to, CHT (sewage) removal, trash removal, water taxi services, vehicle rental, driver services, arranging with other contractors for providing provisions such as fresh fruit and vegetables, providing cellular telephones and/or portable radios, providing assistance in protocol functions, cargo lighterage, drayage, crane and forklift services, and various other support services required by U.S. vessels in non-Navy ports. Period of performance shall be for one base year with three, 1-year op tions. Performance is expected to begin on 01 April 2004. The type of contract awarded will be an indefinite delivery, requirements type contract with fixed price provisions. This is an unrestricted procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. **SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD AFTER 20 JANUARY 2004.** See Note(s): None.
