Description

The Bureau of Land Management is soliciting quotes for the Big Hole Vegetation Treatment in Fremont County, CO. The project is designed to improve vegetation diversity and wildlife habitat as well as reduce the natural fuel buildup through the use of roller-chopping and seeding. The project is 515 acres and is located north of the Arkansas River near Texas Creek, CO. Interested parties may register electronically for receipt of the solicitation and any resulting amendments. The solicitation response period ends January 20, 2004 at 11:59:59pm. To obtain maps and a copy of the Department of Labor Wage Determination for this solicitation, fax your request to (970)244-3130 attn Michele Fugitt Contracting Officer. Electronic responses or hard copy responses will be considered. Send hard copy responses to USDI BLM, EFO, 2815 H Road, Grand Junction, CO 81506 no later than January 20, 2004. A prebid site tour is planned for January 6, 2004 originating at the BLM office 3170 East Main in Canon City, CO 8:00 a.m. The tour may be rescheduled in the event of poor weather.
