- Description
- This is a combined synopsis solicitation for the delivery and installation of security cameras using the following general equipment items: 2 each cameras, Bosch or equal, 2 each turn/tilt mechanics, 2 each brackets to mount cameras, 2 ea infrared floodlight including power supply, 2 each color monitors including wall brackets, 1 each galvanized pole, 1 each digital recording unit, 2 pair broadcasting system, 1 each video crossbar, 1 each control console and system introduction. The contractor will provide all personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, licenses, transportation, crane, boring, chisel, bluster, touchup, paint work and other items and services necessary for installation of the cameras. The work will be performed at the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office located at Oberweis, Germany. The project should be completed within 60 days after award. The contract type is firm fixed price. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) Price and (ii) Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement. All correspondence must be in English. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: A site visit will be held at 1300 on 12 December 2003. The meeting point will be the entrance to the Oberweis complex. This solicitation was amended to reflect the following changes: Amendment 0001, 8 Dec 2003 - Changed block 8 of the SF 1449 from 19 Dec 03 to read 1700, 23 Dec 2003. It also changed the site visit from 1300, 12 Dec 2003 to read 1300, 15 Dec 2003, and changed the participation to mandatory attendance. Other terms and conditions of the solicitation were unchanged at that time. Amendment 0002, 16 Dec 2003 - Added general information: THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6. AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION: PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation Number: FA5606-04-T-0021, Deliver and Install Security Cameras. THIS DOCUMENT INCORPORATES PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES IN EFFECT THROUGH THE FEDERAL ACQUISITION CIRCULAR 2001-15. In addition, the following requirements were added to the Statement of Need: Para 1.1.7, must include a backup device (i. e., CD burner or changeable had disk) Para 1.17 - The digital recording unit must have a capacity of 72 hours recording time. Amendment 3, 18 Dec 03 - Stipulates the monitor size as being 15 inches and changed the offeror due date from 23 Dec 03, 1700 to 1600, 30 Dec 03.
