- Sources Sought and Request for Information Notices for this requirement have previously used the Reference Number 3855. This is a pre-solicitation notice for the requirement of Refuse and Recycling Collection and Disposal and Refuse Derived Fuel Program at Eielson AFB, Alaska. A Firm-Fixed Price contract award is contemplated for this acquisition. The contractor shall be required to furnish all management, supervision, labor, material and equipment not otherwise specified as Government furnished property necessary to provide services for Refuse and Recycling Collection and Disposal and Refuse Derived Fuel Program in accordance with commercial and industry standards, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and procedures. Refuse and Recycling Collection and Disposal and Refuse Derived Fuel Program applies to all personnel assigned to Eielson AFB, AK. The contractor shall be required to provide all personnel, transportation, equipment and services, unless otherwise stated in the Statement of Work, to operate and support refuse/recycling services. Work consists of but is not limited to collection and disposal of refuse and recyclable material and operation of the refuse derived fuel program. The NAICS Code for this service is 562111. The SIC code is 4212. The size standard is $10.5M. This is a pre-solicitation only. This procurement will be 100% set aside for small businesses only and will contain one base year and four option years. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 20 January 2004. A site visit will be conducted approximately 10 days after issuance of the formal solicitation on FedBizOpps at www.eps.gov. Paper copies are not available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent to any and all interested parties to review this website frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
