- Description
- Provide transportation services for participants that are attending the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival in Salt Lake City Utah from October 10, 2004 through October 17, 2004 for the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System. Between October 10 through October 17, 2004 the vehicles will be used for transport of up to 300 persons to and from the hotel for touring and for planned event purposes to various locations in the Salt Lake City vicinity. The contractor will be required to provide 3 large buses and drivers. One of the large buses is required to be ADA accessible. Also required are 2 small shuttle buses with ADA capabilities and drivers for each vehicle. The buses will be stationed at the hotel for use throughout the entire festival for daytime and evening events. The drivers of the buses are required to be accessible from 7:00 am through 10:00 pm each day of the event. The drivers for the shuttle buses are required to be available on-call 24 hours a day to aid in emergency transport. The small shuttle buses will be used to transport small groups to various locations including airport and hospital runs. The contract will be a commercial contract. The procurement will utilize Simplified Acquisition procedures in accordance with Commercial Items Part 12 and in accordance with Far Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation.
