Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary, 601 McDonough Blvd., Atlanta, Georgia intends to make a single award for the provision of a Culinary Arts Vocational Instructor leading to a Vocational Training Certificate in Culinary Arts for the inmate population at the Federal Prison Camp, Atlanta, Georgia. The successful contractor must possess certification through an accredited institution providing culinary arts certification and have an association with an institution of technical learning that will provide a valid Certificate of Completion for the program participants. The contract period will consist of a 12 month base period and three possible 12 month option periods. It is estimated this requirement will call for 135 yearly sessions. A session will be three hours in duration and three sessions will be conducted per week. It is anticipated the contractor will provide four weeks of sessions per month, with the sessions occurring between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. or 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. The solicitation will be available on/about January 5, 2004 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions to obtain all documents relating to this solicitation and any subsequent amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotation is on January 26, 2004. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 611699. This solicitation is unrestricted. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a quotation which will be considered.
