Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Ultrasound Services for the United States Penitentiary, Terre Haute, Indiana. Services will be performed on individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment. It is anticipated that the resulting contracts will be indefinite delivery requirements type contract with firm fixed unit prices. The contract terms shall consist of a base period from the date of the award through twelve (12) months with four (4) subsequent, twelve (12) month option periods for renewal if exercised. The estimated quantities for the base and each option year are 120 estimated scans. The number of hours per week will shall not exceed thirty (30) hours. The solicitation will be made available on or about January 20, 2004, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about February 9, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered.
