- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons , Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) and Federal Prison Camp (FPC) in Greenville, Illinois. Services to be provided shall include inpatient/outpatient hospital services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. FCI Greenville is a medium level security institution with approximately 1270 male inmates. The satellite FPC is a low level security institution with approximately 245 female inmates. The contract type is indefinite/delivery requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities are as follows: Base Year - 115 inpatient days and 250 outpatient visits; Option Year 1 - 120 inpatient days and 260 outpatient visits; Option Year 2 - 125 inpatient days and 270 outpatient visits; Option Year 3 - 130 inpatient days and 280 outpatient visits; Option Year 4 - 135 inpatient days and 290 outpatient visits and due to the volume of information, quantities of outpatient institution services would be listed only in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about January 19, 2004 and will be distributed solely through the General Service Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interest parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on or about March 19, 2004. The North American Industry Classification System code for this solicitation is 622110. This solicitation is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
