Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single or multiple award to qualified small businesses for the provision of two (2) Dental Assistants for the United States Penitentiary, Terre Haute, Indiana. Services will be performed on individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment. It is anticipated that the resulting contracts will be indefinite delivery/requirements type contract with firm fixed unit prices. The contract terms shall consist of a base period from the date of the award through twelve (12) months with four (4) subsequent, twelve (12) month option periods for renewal if exercised. The estimated quantities for the base and each option year are 1560 one-hour sessions for each Dental Assistant. The number of hours per week will shall not exceed thirty (30) hours. The solicitation will be made available on or about January 16, 2004, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about February 6, 2004. The solicitation is 100% set-a-side for small business and all responsible offers will be considered.
