- Description
- The Natural Resources Conservation Service(NRCS)in Des Moines, Iowa is seeking assistance from private sector individuals, firms and entities to assist in the survey, design, layout, construction inspection, and checkout of Waste Storage Facilities in various counties in Iowa. These Waste Storage Facilities are on private lands and are being constructed as one component of the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002, commonly referred to as the 2002 Farm Bill. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and support necessary to provide the services as solicited. It is estimated that each typical Waste Storage Facility will require approximately one(1)to three(3)staff weeks of assistance to complete. Waste Storage Facilities shall be implemented in accordance with all applicable NRCS policy and criteria which can be found at the following websites: NRCS Field Office Technical Guide, http://efotg.nrcs.usda.gov. All applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations will be followed. Successful applicants will be required to be a licensed professional engineer in the State of Iowa. This is a presolicitation notice. A separate request for submission of SF 254's and SF 255's will be advertised at a later date.
