- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard ELC has a requirement to inspect and repair nineteen (19) Fin Stabilizers, NSN 2040-99-726-4768, P/N F2120901, used onboard the 110? class Coast Guard vessels. The Fin Stabilizers shall be inspected IAW the following information: a) ELC Statement of Work Repair Description and b) USCG Drawing 110B-WPB-565-001, Rev. D, sheet numbers 1, 3 thru 5 and 8. Vosper Thornycroft Marine Products originally manufactured the Fin Stabilizers. Under the resultant award, the Government shall provide a Fin nut, NSN 5310-99-538-1442 and 5310-99-538-1443, as Government Furnished Property to ensure proper fit and machining of threads. The due date established for receipt of quotations shall be no later than January 15, 2004. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to U.S. Coast Guard ELC, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. Electronic submission of quotations, via email only, is not acceptable. The drawings referenced in this notice shall not be available from this website. Interested sources must fax in a request for copies of the drawings to Sharon Johnson (410) 762-6465. This acquisition is not set aside for small business. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
