Modifications to Previous Notice The Solicitation number will be issued as F34601-03-R-52814 The Part number is corrected to read: 4082994-01 The Points of contact are corrected as Follows: Lisa Register 405-734-8754 and Rob LaFollette 405-734-8757 OC-ALC/LPKBA DIR CONTRACTING/PROPULSION 3001 STAFF DR STE 1AC1/112A TINKER AIR FORCE BASE OK 73145-3032 SOL FD2030-03-R-52814 The requirement is for the procurement of Metallic Seal NSN: 2840-01-454-9473 P/N: 4082994-01, Applicable to: F100 PW100/200/220E/229 Engine. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. The size/dimensions are as follows: Approximately 4.87inches X 11.03 inches X 0.2 inches thick. The predominant material of manufacture is nickel alloy. The metallic seals limit the amount of exhaust gas pressure escaping between the nozzle segments. The seals also have heat resistant coating that protect the balance segments from higher exhaust gas temperatures. The governments contemplates awarding firm fixed price requirements type contract. The contract will contain an (1) year basic contract period and two (1) year option periods. The best estimated quantities are as follows: 17,770 EA for the basic year, 8,716 EA for option year one and 8,376 EA for the second option year, total estimated quantity of 34,862 EA. The governments required delivery schedule is 1200 EA 120 days after receipt of order and continuing at a rate of 1200 EA until the order is complete. Qualification requirements for the item exist. Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The requirements of FAR 9.202(A) have been completed and copies of the qualification requirements and standards may be obtained as described in the solicitation. The Government is not required to delay award pending approval. The approximate issue/response date will be 04 Feb 2003. The anticipated award date will be 30 May 03. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. The currently approved sources are Dynamic Gunver CT 06040-2297 -United Technologies Corp, East Hartford Ct 06118-1888. First article test required. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. This solicitation will be posted via the Federal Business Opportunities website http://epsa.satx.disa.mil . See Note (s) 23,26.
