- Description
- McChord AFB intends to establish a firm fixed price contract for Food Attendant Services. The contemplated contract is for a basic contract period of 1 Oct 04 through 30 Sep 05 with four one-year option periods. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform Food Attendant Services to include: serving and replenishing food, cleaning of facilities, equipment, and utensils, preparation of fruits and vegetables, bussing of tables, cashier services, and maintenance of equipment. The majority of work is performed at the Olympic Dining Facility. Work is required at the Fire Department and Flight Kitchen. This acquisition will be accomplished as a Commercial Service pursuant to FAR part 12 and in accordance with FAR 15, contracting by negotiations. In conformance with FAR 19 1300, this acquisition is being considered for HUB-Zone set aside. If your firm is HUB-Zone certified and intend to propose on this acquisition, please provide the following information to the Contracting Office not later than 20 days after the publication of this notice. Please limit your response to one type written page and annotate the corresponding solicitation number. 1) Name of Company, 2) Address, 3) Phone & FAX number, 4) E-mail address, 5) Point of Contract, 6) SBA Certification Hub-Zone eligibility, 7) Positive statement that your firm intends to propose on the acquisition, 8) Number of years providing Food Attendant Service, 9) Brief description of the food attendant service your company provides, 10) List 3 of your current or most recently contracts and the annual meals served. Base on the responses, the Contracting Officer will make a determination whether or not to make this a HUB-Zone set aside. If there is not a reasonable expectation of adequate competition as a HUB-Zone set aside, the acquisition will be set-aside 100% small business. Offerors will be evaluated using Price Performance Trade Off. The solicitation package will be issued on or about 30 Jan 04. The applicable Standard Classification (SIC) is 5812; size standard is $17,500,000.00, NAICS 722310. The solicitation package will be posted EXCLUSIVELY on the electronic posting system at HTTP://www.eps.gov following links USAF Office, Air Mobility Command, McChord AFB. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE SENT. Proposals are anticipated to be due by close of business (4:00 PST) 5 March 2004.
