- NA The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment, and constructing the Bayou Plaquemine Pumping Station in Iberville Parish, LA. Principal features of the work include a 100 CFS pumping station, excavation, stone protection, outl et basin, steel pipe piles, steel sheet piling, and reinforced concrete structures. The work includes mobilization and demobilization, clearing and grubbing, cofferdam, unwatering, structure excavation, fully compacted random fill and backfill, semi-compa cted random fill, crushed stone bedding, graded stone (C), levee surfacing, pipe piles, concrete work, trenching and backfilling for utilities systems, steel sheet piling, foundation drainage system, fencing, fertilizing, seeding and mulching, miscellaneou s metal, elastomeric membrane waterproofing, steel doors, painting, metallizing, pump tube and intake pipe assembly, submersible pumps, discharge pipe, mechanical work and miscellaneous equipment, electrical work and testing (including reimbursing the actu al expenses for two factory tests witnessing representatives of the Contracting Officer), motor control centers, and providing environmental protection. Work is estimated to cost between $1,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00. IFB/CD will be issued on or about Se ptember 30, 2003. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement.
