- FSC 17 - Solicitation No. N68335-03-R-6002 - This acquisition is to complete the engineering and limited production services for the Improved LSO HUD Workstation Subsystem, L-3 PN-4275000 with L-3 Communications Corporation, Apharetta, GA. The scope of the work is for the completion of environmental testing (including any re-work/re-furbishment) to be completed three months after contract award. Upon successful environmental testing, the Government anticipates a limited production run of approximately fifteen systems during Fiscal Year 2004 through 2006. This acquisition will include the design, test and acceptance of software and hardware modifications. A competitive drawing package is not available for this requirement. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Any interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
