Description

The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground, (USAYPG) intends to negotiate with M/ACOM Incorporated 1011 Pawtucket Boulevard, Lowell, Massachutes, 01853 on an other than full and open competition basis a contract for enhancement of the MA05935-XXX ser ies telemetry transmitter developed under research and development requirements contract DAAD01-98-D-0004 for the development of a Telemetry Transmitter Chip Set and Power Amplifier in support of the Hardened Sub-miniature Telemetry Sensor System (HSTSS). This modification will be to improve the power output and to package the new dual port voltage controlled oscillator developed under MA/COM contract DATM07-02-C-0064 to increase reliability and reduce assembly complexity. M/ACOM is the original developer and manufacturer of the sub-miniature telemetry transmitter and dual port voltage oscillator and possesses the proprietary schematics and specifications. All technical data relative to the transmitter and oscillator are proprietary to M/ACOM. Interested parties may submit technical literature showing their capability to meet the Government's requirement no later than 21 January 2004. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 22.
