Description

The U.S. Army Aberdeen Proving Ground, (APG) has a requirement for Environmental Support Services. The requirement includes but is not limited to the following task: studies, reports, summaries, data collection,calculations, and plans; environmental impact statements and assessments; APG Strategic Environmental Compliance Plan Update Assistance; Regulatory Permit preparation documentation and monitoring; and inspections, surveys, field and laboratory evaluations and general environmental monitoring. The services will aid APG in complying with the following areas;Clean Air Act,Clean Water Act, Toxic Substance Control Act, Noise Control, National Historic Preservation Act, Wilderness Act, only to mention a few. The contractor shall be responsible for all licenses, certifications and permits required by the State of Maryland and Federal Agencies. The solicitation will require pricing for a base and seven one-year options. The official release of the solicitation will be on or about January 5, 2004. I t will be posted on the Army Single Face to Industry web site, https://acquisition.army.mil. Once in the site, click on Contracting Opportunties Search, enter the solicitation number, then click on the solicitation to gain access. No hard copies of the s olicitation will be issued. Amendments(s), if any, will be posted at the same location as the solicitation. It is the responsibility of those responding to the solicitation to obtain all information and/or other applicable documents. Two Indefinite-Quant ity Requirement type contracts are anticipated.
