- Description
- This is a requirement for Overhaul. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish overhaul, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the below listed miscellaneous valves. A firm fixed price Requirements type contract is contemplated. The items and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: Overhaul NSN 4820-99-740-1368BO; P/N: 2349W020; Noun: Pressure Valve; Applicable to B1B aircraft. Quantity: Basic Year-30 each, Option I-20 each, Option II-20 each; Item 0002: Over and Above Work; Item 0003: Data IAW DD1423s. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 05 Jan 2004, approximate closing date will be 02 Feb 2004. Deliveries are to be at a rate as follows: 2 each per month, 30 Days ARO reps and orders and shall be IAW instructions received from the Production Management Specialist prior to shipment. SOURCE RESTRICTED: Honeywell Aerospace (Normalair Garrett, Cage: K0872). Tech Orders are not available. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
