Description: JERRY JOHNSON CAMPGROUND TREE REMOVAL - The project consists of removal and disposal of designated trees and snags within the Jerry Johnson Campground. Work shall be completed prior to the spring thaw to provide for resource protection. The Contractor will have the option of decking the merchantable timber at an approved location or taking ownership of the timber and removing it from Forest Service land. All debris and slash will be piled at a location near the campground for later burning by the Forest Service. The Contractor will also have the responsibility of protecting the existing pavement, picnic tables, fire rings, water hydrants, and other items within the campground.
