Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for to various piece parts to support the U.S. Coast Guard Yard in assembling twenty-five (25) Running Gear Entanglement Systems. Contractor shall provide all labor and material to manufacture these parts in accordance with Coast Guard Drawing Numbers FL-7903-09 and FL-7903-12. Material requirements shall be as listed in the stated drawings. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. Delivery shall be no later than six (6) weeks from the date of award. The resultant contract shall require First Article Testing be performed before production quantities are manufactured. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the Agency. Request For Quotation (RFQ) Number HSCG40-04-Q-60002 shall be available for download from FedBizOpps (www.eps.gov) on or about 23 December 2003. Sources interested in competing for this requirement shall contact Kelly Wyatt at (410) 762-6472 or Kwyatt@elcbalt.uscg.mil to obtain a copy of the Drawings. The closing date for receipt of quotations shall be 5 January 2004. Interested sources MUST attend a site visit during the solicitation phase to view a completed assembly to ensure their understanding of the requirements. Quotations shall not be received from any source that does NOT attend the site meeting. This requirement is set-aside solely for small businesses. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 332710 and the size standard is 500 employees. The following statement is for information purposes only: ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending Program (STLP), offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
