- Description
- DTCG87-04-Q-643041 Top End Overhaul for #1 and #3 Generators at USCG LORAN Station, Shoal Cove, Alaska. The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, supervision, and transportation in order to: 1) Perform factory recommended 10,000-hour service and rebuild procedures on two (2) Coast Guard owned Caterpillar; model D-398, Diesel Generator set, serial numbers 66B5179 & 66B5156 and also perform factory recommended cleaning and adjustments procedures on one (1) Coast Guard owned Kato Generator; model HEP-500-D, Serial number 72993-1. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. The time for completion of work on this project is 30 calendar days from the physical start of work at LORAN Station, Shoal Cove. The target completion date is March 31, 2004. The industrial standard NAICS code is 811310 and the applicable size standard is $6.0 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Solicitation documents, may be accessed for download from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be on or about January 5, 2004) at the following site: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posed on this website. The technical data package (description/specifications/statement of work) will only be available on the FedBizOpps website. Firms must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for award. Prospective quoters are responsible for checking the website for amendments up to the date and time for receipt of quotations. Vendors are encouraged to register their interest by entering their information in the Interested Vendor list for this solicitation in FedBizOpps. This solicitation will be open to both small and large business concerns. All responsible concerns may submit a quote, which will be considered by the U. S. Coast Guard.
