- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is F7352133220200, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This is an unfunded requirement, and funds are not currently available. If and when funding is made available, the Government intends to make an award. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in affect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-14. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334111. This requirement is BRAND NAME ONLY, no substitutes will be considered. The 375th Contracting Flight is seeking quotes and requests pricing quote be extended through 30 January 2004. The equipment is as follows: BRAND NAME ONLY: Qty 1 Ea. Newtek Rack Mounted Video Toaster Live Switching System (Dual 3.06ghz P4 Xeon processors, 2 Gigs of ECC DDR SDRAM, Dual-Channel Ultra SCSI Controller, 36 gig 10k RPM SCSI System Drive, 36 gig 10k RPM SCSI Audio Drive, 36 gig 10k RPM Temp Data Drive, Integrated 10/100/1000 Base-TX controller LAN, DVD R/RW Burner, Newtek SX-8 breakout and RS-8 Bar Switcher, Newtek Video Toaster 3 Video Capture card, 1.5 hours rack mounted uncompressed video storage. System must be turn-key, fully integrated and tested upon delivery. System to be in transportable storage. Initial training to 2 personnel required at a two day minimum. Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The FAR provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Award will be made to the lowest price brand name only. Paragraph (a) is completed as follows: Price. Basis for Award: Offers shall be ranked according to price. A completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items, MUST be submitted with the quote. The provision may be copied from website http://farsite.hill.af.mil/VFFARA.HTM. Quotes WILL NOT be considered without the completed provision. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clauses at subparagraph (b)(5), (b)(11), (b)(13), (b)(14), (b)(15) of 52.212-5 are applicable. Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, and DFARS 232.7002 Wide Area Work Flow (use of electronic payment requests) apply to this acquisition. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the Agency. Contract award cannot be made to any contractor who is not enrolled in the Department of Defense (DoD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) program. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov/.
