- Description
- The U.S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), Pittsburgh, PA intends to award a sole-source contract/purchase order to Elsevier Science Inc for continued access to the full-text online access to the following: (1) Materials Science, (2) Energy and Power, (3) Chemistry, (4) Chemical Engineering, and (5) Engineering Technology for the calendar year 2004, including back files from 1995 forward. This is a "Notice of Intent" and not a request for competitive proposals. This acequsition is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties that feel that they can provide the service may respond by registering via DOE's IIPS http://e-center.doe.gov and submitting their capability statement electronicall, referencing the above listed solicitation number in this notice, including pricing information. This request is considered to be sole source to Elsevier Science Inc. Therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement. This award shall be made using simplified acquisition procedures.
