- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) has a sole source requirement for Twentyfive (25) Cortron, Inc. Model 121 Rugged Backlit PS2 Keyboard with a 2" trackball, Cortron Part Number 536-0002. The Government intends to purchase these items directly from the manufacturer, Cortron, Inc., Methuen, MA. Required delivery is 19 January 2004, early delivery authorized. This specific keyboard is required for compatibility with existing units on a direct exchange basis and cannablization of components basis. Any alternative keyboard would not meet the needs of compatibility and interchangeability which is operationally necessary for deployed assets. F.O.B Destination applies. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, AS ALL ITEMS ARE SPECIFIED UNDER THIS NOTICE. SUBMIT FAXED, SIGNED AND DATED QUOTATIONS NLT 10:00 A.M. EST 17 DECEMBER 2003 to 5 40-653-6810. IT IS THE OFFEROR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO ASSURE THAT THE QUOTE IS RECEIVED TIMELY AND THAT IT IS LEGIBLE AND COMPLETE. AS A MINIMUM, QUOTATIONS MUST INCLUDE: (1) Reference to Quotation Number N00178-04-Q-3008, (2) The quoter's name, address, point of contact, phone number and email address, (3) Clear identification of the offered product developer/manufacturer, model numbers, quantities and prices for each offered item, (4) The offered delivery, (5) Descriptive literature for any/all non-Cortron, Inc. offered products/items (NTE 5 pages), which clearly addresses the minimum specifications. QUOTES FAILING TO SUBMIT THE ABOVE INFORMATION MAY BE EXCLUDED FROM CONSIDERATION. All responsible sources may submit a proposal to NSWCDD, Bldg 183, Room 106, Code XDS13, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100, which shall be considered by the Agency. Award is to be m ade under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Closing time and date is 10:00 A.M. EST 17 December 2003, award will be made 18 December 2003.
