- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) has a sole source requirement for eight (8) seats of Wind River Systems Tornado 2.2 and VxWorks 5.5 for PowerPC Real-Time Operating System development environment at NSWCDD. Current tactical software is baselined on Wind River VxWorks software. Any alternatives must at a minimum provide software compatibility without jeopardizing current developmental efforts and without jeopardizing current Wind River licenses. The requirement consists of: Tornado/VXWorks PN 170-D7330-NN, VxWorks 5.5 OEM License Motorola/IBM PPC7xxx to include board support package and BSP Developers Kit; PN 530-95535, VxWorks OEM License Annual Support and Maintenance; PN 170-D6886-NN, Tornado 2.2 Professional with RTV Option-Power PC Architecture-Windows Host-Node Locked License to include Core Tornado Tools, Code, Tornado Documentation, WindView, Real Time Visualization ProfileScope and TraceScope, WindPower Tools SNiFF+PRO and CoverageScope; PN 530-95487, Tornado 2.2 Professional RTV Annual Support and Maintenance. F.O.B Destination applies. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, AS ALL ITEMS ARE SPECIFIED UNDER THIS NOTICE. SUBMIT FAXED, SIGNED AND DATED QUOTATIONS NLT 10:00 A.M. EST 18 DECEMBER 2003 to 540-653-6810. IT IS THE OFFEROR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO ASSURE THAT THE QUOTE IS RECEIVED TIMELY AND THAT IT IS LEGIBLE AND COMPLETE. AS A MINIMUM, QUOTATIONS MUST INCLUDE: (1) Reference to Quotation Number N00178-04-Q-3006, (2) The quoter's name, address, point of contact, phone number and email address, (3) Clear identification of the offered product developer/manufacturer, model numbers, quantities and prices for each offered item, (4) The offered delivery, (5) Descriptive literature for a ny/all non-Wind River offered products/items (NTE 5 pages), which clearly addresses the minimum specifications. QUOTES FAILING TO SUBMIT THE ABOVE INFORMATION MAY BE EXCLUDED FROM CONSIDERATION. All responsible sources may submit a proposal to NSWCDD, Bldg 183, Room 106, Code XDS13, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100, which shall be considered by the Agency. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. See Note 22. Closing time and date is 10:00 A.M. EST 18 December 2003.
