Description
As a result of requests received during meetings with industry, the Department has arranged for interested teams of potential offerors, to meet with Small Business Administration (SBA) representatives in Washington D.C. The meeting will assist potential offerors primarily in understanding 1) the NAICS size standard for this RFP 2) affiliation rules, 13 C.F.R. ? 121, including prime/subcontract relationships, joint ventures, and limited liability corporations, etc. and 3) percentage performance requirements for small business. The meeting will be limited to prospective offerors and any of its teaming members. The date of the meeting is December 15, 2003, at the U.S. Department of Energy, 1000 Independence Ave, Washington, D.C. The meeting will begin at 9:00 A.M. with a presentation by SBA to all prospective offerors. After the general presentation, individual offerors, including its teaming members, may meet with the SBA at a pre-scheduled time during that day of approximately 1 hour, i.e., one meeting for each prospective offeror. Attendees for the meeting should report to the visitor?s desk in the lobby. Representatives of the each offeror, including any teaming members, will be limited to four. Requests to participate in the general meeting and the individual meetings should be submitted to Stacie Sedgwick by 4:00 P.M. on December 10, 2003, via e-mail to the FFTF Mailbox, FFTF_closure_Project@rl.gov. Information for each participant must include the following: For U.S. citizens - 1) name (including middle initial) 2) citizenship, and 3) company represented. For non-U.S. citizens ? complete the UFV Short Format (see the attached PDF format document entitled, ?Visit Request Form ? Short Format) which can be faxed to Stacie Sedgwick at (509) 376-5378). Requests for non-U.S. citizens require a minimal processing time and such requests may not be allowed if sufficient time is not available. Prospective offerors will be advised of your scheduled individual meeting time. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (08-DEC-2003).
