- Description
- The Social Security Administration intends to negotiate solely with Fantom Systems, 8120 State Route 138, Williamsport, Ohio 43164,USA under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.301-1 "Sole Source Acquisitions" for the associated maintenance of SSA?s existing VSUM/MVS software site license. The 5-year systems life value of this maintenance support is below the simplified acquisition threshold. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill this requirement. A solicitation is not available; therefore, written and/or verbal requests for copies of a solicitation related to this announcement will not be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
