- This is a Combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation/Solicitation for Commercial Supplies/Services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this Notice. This announcement constitutes the only Request For Quotations and incorporates Provisions and Clauses IAW the FAR/DFAR. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT TO SANS INSTITUTE: ON SITE TRAINING ?INTRUSION DETECTINO IN DEPTH?. SIX DAYS ON SITE CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION, CERTIFICATION FEES INCLUDED. COURSE DATES 25-30 JANUARY 2004. ITEM 0001-INSTRUCTOR FEES (MAXIMUM ENROLLMENT OF 70 STUDENTS). ITEM 0002-AUTHOR FEES. ITEM 0003- TRAVEL FEES (IF APPLICABLE). THE GOVERNMENT WILL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING: CLASSROOM FACILITIES, A/V EQUIPMENT, STUDENT REGISTRATION AND PRINTING OF COURSE MATERIALS PROVIDED BY THE CONTRACTOR. THE LOCATION OF CLASSROOM IS NORFOLK VA. POC: RUBY PHILLIPS PH: 757-444-4096, FAX:757-444-3081 Closing Date of Quote is DECEMBER 23, 2003 1200 NOON Eastern Standard Time.
