- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting under 100% Small Business Set Aside for Two (2) Actuators: Terminal Type: Socket. Rotation in Deg 90.0 Nominal. Angular Shaft Rotation: Limited. One (1) Actuator; Drive Type: Friction Clutch Type: Friction Limit Switch Control: Special Features ? Turn; Alum. Housing. Delivery FOB Destination to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS), Bremerton, WA 98314. The procedures of FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition and FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. Award will be made to the responsible offeror that provides the lowest price, technically acceptable product. For this acquisition, the NAICS Code is 335999 and the Size Standard is 500 employees. The estimated issuance date of the solicitation is December 19, 2003. The estimated deadline date for receipt of quotes is January 02, 2004 at 3:00 P.M., local time, at the Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound, Bremerton Washington. All dates in this announcement are estimated and are subject to change. The actual dates will be included in the solicitation. No documents will be available until the solicitation is issued. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Elecronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer, are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website (WinZIP is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to anne.marotti@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ and/or amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations or quotes and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals or quotes may render your proposal or quote non-responsive and result in the rejection of same.
