Description
The purpose of this synopsis modification is to establish a new closing date of 2:00PM on Dec. 15, 2003 and to also provide additional technical information. The full synopsis follows: This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-04-Q-0912. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: 0001 High Voltage DC Power Supply, minimum 1.5kV at 10.6A or higher with reversible polarity mode, input range could be 115 to 225 Volts and the output should be 1500 Volts (or more) DC, with current of 10.6A (or more), USA Standard power input at 115 Volts or three phase input volts and frequency, manufacturer defined input/output connectors, MIL-Spec's are defined by the Volt-Current of the equipment, desktop or rackmount, and standard commercial warranty; quantity required is one (1) unit. Required delivery is 8 weeks or sooner after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. This is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS Code is 335999; size standard is 500 employees. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2000-07. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation--Commercial Items. Evaluation factors are technical capability, price and past performance. Each is equally important. A completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items must be submitted with quote.
