- Description
- This is a notice of intent to negotiate with the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office on an other than full and open competitive basis for the procurement of supplies and services in support of the MV-22 Operational Test and Evaluation (OPEVAL) period from August 2004 to June 2005. This effort provides engineering and logistics support for 8 MV-22 Block A Aircraft undergoing operational testing. Support includes: Maintenance; Management; Supply Support; Shipping and Transportation; Field Service Technical Support; Logistics Support; Technical Publication Support; Design Engineering and all other efforts, parts, equipment and services required to support this test period. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office is the designer, developer and sole producer of the V-22 aircraft, and is the only source with sufficient prerequisite knowledge and experience necessary to perform these efforts.
