- Description
- Defense Supply Center Richmond intends to acquire Chains and Ropes through the use of a long-term contract awarded against SP0412-04-R-1507. This solicitation is comprised of 10 NSNs with similar manufacturing processes. The NSN listed are set-aside HUBZONE, sole sourced to Baldt, Inc. The resultant contract will be Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). The contract will have a twenty four month base period and three twelve-months option periods for total maximum period of performance of 5 years if all options are exercised. The NSNs in the solicitation all fall under FSC 4010. Once released (see opening date below) the solicitation will be found at http://www.dscr.dla.mil/kd and on the procurement gateway. There are drawings associated with all of the NSNs covered by this acquisition. In order to obtain access to drawings, offerors must be registered on the DSCR Technical Data Management Division website. It suggested that vendors who are not already registered access the following website to register prior to release of the solicitation http://www.dscr.dla.mil/tdmd/mb_index.asp. The solicitation will open on December 24, 2003 and close on February 07, 2004. Documents will not be available until the solicitation opening date. Notes 22 and 27 apply
