Description: NA This notice constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number W912CN-04-T-0158 is issues as a request for quote, and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect t hrough Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. The North American Industry Classification System code is 423430, with a small business standard of 100 employees. The acquisition is a firm-fixed requirements contract for ADP hardware. The purchase of 5 each P ortable Sun Solaris Laptop with magnesium alloy case, high density cooling and security ID lick feature. 650 Mhz UltraSPARC IIi processor. Includes 512 MB of memory, two 40GB hard drives (one embedded, one removable), 15 inch TFT screen with 1400 X 1050 r esolution, Solaris 9 loaded RTU (no media), dual 10/100 BaseT Ethernet, two USB ports. Fire Wire connection IEEE 1394 and support, one PCMCIA slot type 2, one 25 pin serial port, 5 each External USB - CD-R Drive, 5 eachExternal USB travel floppy, 5 each E xternal Solaris Zip Drive, 5 each Hard Carry Case for Solaria, 5 each Media Kit for Solaris 2.9, 4 each Custom Sun Ultra 60 Deskside System - Dual, 450MHz CPU's 2 GB RAM, Dual removable 36GB disks, ethernet, floppy, CD-recorder and DISC maker software, key board, mouse, monitor. Solaris loaded w/ RTU, including one year warranty. Delivery shall be made FOB destination (FAR 52.247-34) to location specified on Solicitation W912CN-04-T-0158, Schofield Barracks, HI 96857, phone (808) 655-6141. All solicitations must meet required delivery date of 15 December 2003. Offerors who fail t o follow the format and requirements listed in 1 through 7 may be found unacceptable. Quotes will initially be evaluated for delivery acceptability. Only quotes with acceptable products will be considered. Award will be made to the responsible offeror o n the basis of the lowest evaluated price with acceptable past performance and ability to meet the delivery schedule and delivery all items. The government may award a contract based on initial offers received, without discussion of such offers; therefore , initial offer should contain the offeror??????s best terms from a cost or price and technical standpoint.
