- Description
- The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL, intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Scram Net Card Interface card for memory sharing between DEC Alpha computers and PC based data acquisition computers. This is a Sole Source to Systran Corp, 4126 Linden Avenue Dayton, Ohio 45432-3068. (937) 252-5601. This Sole Source to Systran Corp is currently the only vendor who can meet the stringent requirements for the new GWEF HIITL shared memory network interface. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested, and a written request for quotation will not be issued. The announcement number is F43TSW33240100. This solicitation is issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334418, with small business standard size 500 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. This requirement is for CARD, PCI SCRAMNET+, SC150e, Network Interface, 3.3V and 5V Signaling, Embedded 2MB Memory and Standard Fiber Optic Media. Item will be shipped to Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The acceptance will be FOB Destination.
