- Description
- 17. Repair Cathodic Protection MAF/LF. Provide all plant, labor, material, and equipment to accomplish the installation of a cathodic protection deep well anode bed system and/or demo existing and install new rectifier system at a minimum of 1 missile launch facility (LF) and 1 missile alert facility (MAF), no more than 150 LF's and 15 MAF's. The Work shall include but is not limited to drilling a 6? diameter hole, installing anodes, backfilling with coke breeze, connecting lead wires, and site cleanup and or removal and replacement of existing rectifier, anode cabinet and associated hardware and site cleanup. The work is 50% general, 50% electrical. The work is in a restricted area. The Project Magnitude is $80,000-$990,000. Project Solicitation, specifications, and drawings will be made available on or about 16 Dec 03. The complete package will be made available only through the Internet: the address id http://www.eps.gov. Anyone wishing to participate in this proposed procurement must obtain their copy from the internet. Copies WILL NOT be mailed from the Contracting Office. All amendments will be posted on the Internet. Contractors will be solely responsible for obtaining amendments from the Internet to update their files. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238210, the small business size standard in $12 Million in average annual receipts for the past 3 years. This project will be solicited as full and open to both large and small businesses with the intent to award an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) Contract.
