- Description
- This presolicitation notice is being modified to include the project title, which was inadvertently omitted from the original notice. The content of the original advertisement is repeated following the project title. REGION 6 EXCLUSIVE USE HELICOPTER SERVICES, RAPPEL. The intent of this solicitation and any resultant contract is to obtain services of a Type II or III helicopter fully operated by qualified personnel and equipped to meet specifications for use in administration and protection of Public Lands. The aircraft will be utilized as a Rappel Platform. The awarded contract will be for one base year with two renewable options. During the Mandatory Availability Period (105 Days - June 2 through September 14th of each year) and any extensions thereof, the aircraft will be made available for the exclusive use of the Government. The helicopter furnished will be used for fire initial attack and support missions and for other administrative flights as assigned. It may also be used for law enforcement flights. Posting of the solicitation package is anticipated on December 18, 2003.
