Minimum Quantity for one year Basic Ordering Period for Type II is 14,850EA, Maximum Quantity for one year Basic Ordering Period for Type II is 29,700EA. Quantity for two 1 Year Term Options for Type II is 14,850EA, Minimum and 29,700EA, Maximum. Minimum Quantity for one year Basic Ordering Period for Type III is 81,770EA, Maximum Quantity for one year Basic Ordering Period for Type III is 163,540EA. Quantity for two 1 Year Term Options for Type III is 81,770EA, Minimum and 163,540EA, Maximum. Government contemplates Delivery Order #0001, placed on the Basic Year, will be for the Minimum Quantity for both types requiring 6 deliveries. Destinations are SNT-Defense Depot New Cumberland, PA and AQ5-Defense Depot San Joaquin, Tracy, CA. Production Leadtime is 180 days. In accordance with FAR 15.101-2(b)(1), award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards or non cost factors. This will be a Lowest-Priced-Technically-Acceptable(LPTA) Source Selection in accordance with 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items. Submission of a First Article will be required.Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.mil/home AFTER 16 December 2003(estimated date). From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFPs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFPs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFP Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles as the commodity center from which notices will be sent. Important Note on Foreign Content-The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes(including what is commonly referred to as "The Berry Amendment" impose restrictions on the DOD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textiles items(as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and "specialty metals"(as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014 must be grown, reprocessed reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARs 225.7002-2 exceptions applies. DSCP has developed a web-based system for contractors to request their specs, patterns, drawings, etc. A contractor fills out an on-line form and the request is automatically e-mailed to the TDR area and stored in a database table.
