- On behalf of the Naval Personnel Command Music Program, Millington, TN, the Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Jacksonville, Florida intends to award a sole source contract to Wenger Corp. 555 Park Drive, Owatonna, MN. The requirement is for three (3) music practice rooms in two different sizes, 6?11? x 8?2? and 5?8? x 6?8?. This is a commercial item. Navy Music Program personnel while on tour at various locations will use the music rooms for rehearsal. The rooms are required to be soundproof, individual and portable and should include at least nine separate acoustical simulations. Delivery will be made to three different locations and installation will be required. The acquisition will be conducted under the NAICS code 332311, where the small business size standard is 500. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The solicitation resulting from this announcement will be electronically available on or about 12 December 2003 to interested parties at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the website. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
