- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing residential Non-Secure Juvenile Facility services for juvenile male and juvenile female Federal offenders in the Santa Fe County or the Bernalillo County, New Mexico area. Services required include substance abuse treatment, vocational training, education, religious services, sex offender treatment, basic life skills, gang awareness, and cultural activities. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, Contract Non-Secure Juvenile Facility, Amended February 2002, and Amended by the El Paso CCM Office September 2003. This is a firm-fixed unit price requirement type contract. The services are estimated to be 88% male and 12% female. The estimated number of inmate days is 10,950 (males) and 1,460 (females) for the base period; 5,475 (males) and 730 (females) for option year one; 5,490 (males) and 732 (females) for option year two; and 5,475 (males) and 730 (females) for option year three, respectively. The solicitation will be available on or about December 29, 2003, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of the solicitation will be on or about February 27, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests or written requests for solicitation will be accepted.
