- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has a requirement to provide all labor, supervision, equipment and material necessary to provide janitorial services under a performance based contract at the National Marine Fisheries Service building in Narragansett, Rhode Island. The work area covered by the specifications is approximately 14,300 square feet. PROSPECTIVE VENDOR SHALL HAVE AN OFFICE SPACE WHICH IS LOCATED WITHIN A 50-MILE RADIUS OF THE FISHERIES SITE IN NARRAGANSETT. Period of Performance will be December 1, 2003 through September 30, 2004 with four one-year options. The proposed contract is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Successful offeror will be required to register in the CCR database. A MANDATORY SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR 10:00 A.M. ON NOVEMBER 5, 2003 AT 28 TARZWELL DRIVE, NARRAGANSETT, RI. OFFERS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED FROM FIRMS THAT ATTENDED THE SITE VISIT. AN OFFER SUBMITTED BY A FIRM THAT DID NOT ATTEND THE SITE VISIT WILL BE REJECTED. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Copies of the solicitation will be attached as a downloadable Word file to this announcement on or about October 28, 2003. Hard copies of the solicitation will only be provided in response to written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor. Telephone requests will not be honored. Requests for copies of the solicitation may be faxed to (757) 441-3786. Offers received by November 18, 2003 will be considered for award. Award will be made on or about November 25, 2003. Numbered Note 1 applies. THIS MODIFICATION IS ISSUED TO PROVIDE AMENDMENT NO. 0002 WHICH CHANGES THE QUANTITY FOR THE BASE PERIOD AND THE PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE. THE OFFER DUE DATE IS EXTENDED TO DECEMBER 5, 2003 AS NOTED ABOVE.
